Hey guys, its been a minute but I’m super excited to share with you the invites for my daughters upcoming 8th birthday. We are just a few short weeks away from the party so I am in full prep mode over here. Let’s just say my daughter Leilani is Lego Friends obsessed. If you’re not familiar with this girl version of Legos they are based on a group of 5 friends who live in Heartlake City. The line includes their houses, hobbies, cars, pets & favorite places to visit. They even have their own amusement park, it’s really cute stuff.
I always like to do something a little different when it comes to party invitations. For some reason that always includes putting them inside something and these were no different. For these I started with small block favor containers I found on Amazon. I tried to find a font similar to the one used in the Lego Friends logo and came across this one called Bunny Funny. I cut the guests names out of white vinyl using my Cricut then attached a purple glitter butterfly similar to the one on the Lego logo as well. With the group of friends being from Heartlake City I used that as my inspiration for the inside. I rolled up the tiny little invitation and closed it with a small elastic heart and laid it on a bed of blue beads to represent a lake. A little too literal maybe but cute as heck!
Let’s Build Some Birthday Fun!
Aren’t they just the cutest?! Thanks for looking!
