We are just a few short weeks away from my daughther’s 7th birthday party. She is Rapunzel obsessed so I’ve been over here working on all the things.
Her favortie show right now is the new “Tangled Series” on Disney Plus. I put together this fun little styled session for her birthday photoshoot using some of the props I’ve made so far based roughly on the movie. Let’s check it out!

My sweet baby girl. I wanted this shoot to feel a little more vintage so I opted for a dress from JoyFolie instead of the Disney dress up costumes. It reminded me of Rapunzels dress with its coloring and details on the front and she felt so fancy in her little heels too! A sweet little braided updo adorned with fresh flowers was the cutest touch!
I’ll have a mix of these paper lanterns in all shapes and sizes at the party. I added the sun cutouts using my Cricut.
Love this Rapunzel inspired crown!
I’ll have a lot of wood accents at the party like this birch vase full of wildflowers. It gives it a little bit of that enchanted feel I love so much.
I painted these paper mache books and added some vinyl decals to resemble the books Rapunzel reads while locked in the tower.
The cutest Rapunzel!
Special apperance by Flynn Rider.
I put together a quick costume for Flynn using a blue vest and a steampunk inspired satchel.
My other daughter and her bestie came along for the shoot. They wanted to play villagers. Both of their dresses are from JoyFolie as well.
Cupcake Picnic
You can’t have Rapunzel without her frying pan. I purchased 2 sizes of these for the party. This larger one for a photo prop and a few mini ones to use on the dessert table as cupcake holders.
Thanks so much for looking! Stay tuned in a few weeks for all the details from Olivia’s “Tangeld in Fun” 7th birthday!
Love this post? Pin it for later!

Wow! Your photos are so gorgeous! I would love to collaborate for #8 – I make giant wooden numbers and would love to see what you can do with them!
