Here we are one day before the 4th of July and I am just now getting around to sharing with you our patriotic Star Spangled Birthday….sorry, I’ve been busy okay! Lucky for you though it has a lot of great last minute ideas you can still pull together in time. When I found out my girlfriends daughters birthday was coming up I thought how fun to share a birthday with America, I must throw her a party!! I teamed up with Shindigz which made the planning really fun because they have a lot of patriotic decor to choose from. Although it’s too late for you to get the supplies in time for this 4th of July celebration we still have Labor Day & Veteren’s Day coming up. Plus I was able to find a lot of fun paper items online that you can still print today and work into your party for tomorrow. So go check it all out and start downloading! I found lots of free printables here. The girls loved crowing themselves princesses with these tiaras.
To make serving up the popcorn more festive I printed & cut these labels then glued to some kraft favor bags. I found these free coloring pages that you can print as many as you want and keep the little ones entertained all day. How cute are these place settings? I made customized plates and used a Star Burst Centerpiece for the kids table. The cutest little picnic table there ever was came from Ikea. I offer these water bottle labels & other coordinating items in my Etsy shop. Love this ferris wheel cupcake holder I found at Pier 1. These pinwheel toppers look great in mini pies or would work great as cupcake toppers or appetizer picks. Same label from the popcorn bags I glued to a stick to make a flower pick. Just a simple naked cake from the grocery store spruced up with some yummy berries. I love that I can reuse these straws every year! Can’t celebrate the 4th of July without some Coco Cola! This pretty little cutout can he found here. If I ever need a rag tie garland, high chair banner or fabric bunting I hit up my favorite AmpersandGO I set up a Kid Fun Zone full of different activities for the kids using this chalkboard sign, firecracker centerpiece, spinning stars, sparklers, 4 tier cardboard cake, beach balls, & patriotic bucket. The kids rode pony rides & played balloon darts and whoever popped a balloon got a “Let Freedom Ring” pop. I’m just kidding….no one popped a balloon. It was torture watching them try to pop a balloon using these rubber darts I bought so I caved and gave them all ring pops anyway. 🙂 Larger customizeable plates can be found here. This kid knows how to get it done! Don’t you just love sparkler candles? Beat the heat with these printable fans.
