For Halloween this year I teamed up with Re-Play Recycled to bring you this not so spooky pirate Halloween showcasing their October color of the month. You guessed it….Black! I’ve been wanting to do a pirate themed party for a long time so this was really fun. It also let me be creative with trying to figure out how to make it feel like Halloween and not just a pirate party. I did that by switching out the normal red colors you see used in pirate themes to orange and then incorporating lots of pumpkins. Let’s see how it all came together…
Cannon Balls were black seedless grapes. I made all the food bag labels using my cricut and black vinyl.
Does this remind you of Wilson from Castaway? No….just me?
These are the best…. I ripped up one of my brown paper bags into pieces and made little food labels to look like a treasure map.
Most of the kids were dressed as Pirates but I had a few mermaids mixed in who got to use the purple tableware.
The treats table was an old chest I use on my patio as a coffee table.
Pretzels with marshmallows on the ends dipped in white chocolate make the cutest bones.
I made the pirate shirts out of white tshirts and shoestring and cut the sleeves into strips. Easiest DIY Halloween costume ever!
Fish N Chips= potato chips & goldfish crackers. Love what you see? Make sure to pin it for later!
