If you’ve been keeping up with my Instagram then you know I’ve been sharing some of the awesome details that went into our recent playhouse makeover. My girls wanted a play bakery and a play bakery is what they got. Well the awesomeness didn’t stop when the remodel was done. Shortly after I finished up the project I invited over some friends to participate in our Grand Opening Celebration! How adorable is this flyer? Keep scrolling to see some of the magic that happened with details that don’t disappoint! 
I have this thing with chandeliers. I always seem to make one for every party and this party was no different with its awesome cupcake liner chandelier!
A little mod podge and some sprinkles make for one cute photo frame! 
So here comes the sweets table with its fabulous Grand Opening banner from Shindigz. They actually provided most of the decor for the party so I can’t thank them enough. Since its a bakery grand opening I knew there had to be desserts and since our name is Whimsy Cakes Magical Bakes everything had to be pretty flippin magical. My girls wanted cupcakes of course so I came up with our signature dessert. The legendary “Cupcakicorn” Say that 5 times fast. We also served up Disco Donuts, Nothing Bundt Baby Bundts, Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy and many more magical treats. Believe it or not though I was on a tight budget because my husband thought I was nuts for throwing a Grand Opening party for a fake bakery. 🙂 So everything came from my local grocery store and I just jazzed them up with a little creativity. So check out these awesome “Disco Donuts” because well don’t they just make you want to dance? All I did here was buy some store bought donuts which were super cheap and then iced them with some strawberry cake icing. Added some edible disco dust & sprinkles and these bad boys were ready to rock! So flippin cute! 
Keeping with the magical trend…..here they are….our signature cupcakes! Pretty sprinkles and cute toppers go a long way with store bought cupcakes! 
Donut straw toppers will be available in my Etsy Shop as well. 
Star toppers guess what? Will be available also! Where? In my Etsy Shop…duh! 
I made custom recipes cards also, so cute! Leilani couldn’t write all that well just yet so yeah we just scribbled it in. 🙂 
So I really didn’t want to disappoint on the magical factor here so I had someone special stop by. I mean what’s more magical to a kid then being served cupcakes by one of your favorite princesses? FYI I book all my character entertainment thru Once Upon A Time Character Company!
The guests got to take a seat at our Sprinkle Station and decorate their own cupcake to take home, or in this case just dive right in.
After the cupcake decorating was complete I opened up the Bakery for some play time. 
Lastly, what’s a party these days without a photo booth or better yet what’s a bakery grand opening without a Donut Disco Booth? 
So much fun! Thank you again to all the vendors that helped out. It was really awesome and my girls had the best time!
