Better late then never right? As we are just two short weeks away from my birthday I thought it was fitting to finally share with you all my birthday party from last year. I celebrated turning the ripe old age of 35 with a small dinner party celebration in my girlfriends backyard. Thank you April! There was wine, watercolors, good food, lots of laughs and lots more wine. Take a look at some of the details that went into this fun Wine & Watercolors birthday celebration which graced the cover of Mingle Magazines 2018 winter issue.
If you haven’t heard of Creative Candles then you must go now and check out their amazing selection of beauties. Sangria anyone? Yes please!! I lost track of how many glasses I had somewhere after 6…. Amazing cake by Grace & Honey Cakes Flowers by Love Anne Joy So the whole purpose behind the Wine & Watercolors theme was I’ve always wanted to go to one of those places where you paint something while they serve you wine but to be honest I can’t paint for crap so it would probably just be a waste of money. So I decided to just sit back and sip my Sangria while watching everyone else get their paint on. This beautiful little replica of our centerpiece was done by my friend April. It’s pretty awesome sauce!
I love sparkler candles! I knew I wanted to get a shot of them as they were putting off their sparks and it came out great! I picked up these sparklers from Shop Celebration Lane.
Can I just say fire hazard….
I wished for more wine…. More amazing candle goodness from Creative Candles. I picked up a bunch of cheap glass vases from a yard sale forever ago. I gave them a coat of spray paint to remind me of milk glass vases. How amazing is this centerpiece!? Printables provided by Just A Little Sparkle. Love these watercolor napkins from Qt’s Pretty Little Things.
My wish came true!
This is April aka Apes or Chandler Bing. I love her laugh. Her constant good mood and laughter is so infectious! Like I said…there was lots of wine! Auntie Darcey…as my girls call her. Love you lots!!
As the night crept on and the wine kept flowing the picture quality quickly became awful. 🙂 but it was all good times. Miss you girls!!
