My goodness it has been a hot minute since I’ve blogged anything. Honestly, I don’t know why. I go through these stages where I’ll throw 6 posts at you in one month and then go 6 months without sharing anything. Sorry Charlie, consistency is obviously not my strong point! But, I promise I will do better this year because I have so much dang pretty to share! Starting with a cute little invitation I whipped up for my daughters 10th birthday. We will be celebrating this upcoming weekend with some fun cake decorating at Duff’s CakeMix Studio.
Check out this cute little whisk I made using a paper straw & pipe cleaner.
It’s a simply little invite. I didn’t get super crafty for this one because honestly it has been a total last minute decision to even get together with friends. My daughter’s birthday was actaully 2 months ago but it fell on Thanksgiving weekend where everyone we knew was out of town & also during the peak of my family photography season, so I was swamped with editing.
So here we are, 2 months later and I said what the heck…who says we can’t celebrate now? We are obsessed over here with all the baking shows so the theme was an easy one for her to pick.
I found an invite I loved right off the bat from Print A Party Co so decided to go that route instead of making my own design.
To spruce it up just a little, I made a mint green pocketfold and lined the inside with the coordinating sprinkle paper that comes with the invite.
The invitation is easy to edit yourself inside of Adobe and then you just print & go. Lots of other coordinating items are available to match as well so I’ll be using what I can for the party.
It even looks super cute without the pocketfold!
It feels good to be back, can’t wait to share all the fun from the party next week. Thanks for stopping by, I missed you guys!
