Once upon a time there was a sweet little princess named Graysen. She had an evil aunt who planned the most fabulous parties for all the children in the land…except for her. Every year she would call upon her aunt and ask her to come celebrate her birthday with her but her evil aunt never showed up. What Princess Graysen didn’t know was that it broke her aunts heart and this year she vowed to do whatever she could to make it up to her. So her aunt traveled thousands & thousands of miles into the cold, dark Midwest from the far far away land of California. With her she brought 10 perfect princess party chairs, 2 cousins and towed a trailer full of party decor just for her.
Invitations were sent out and Princess Graysen was beyond excited to celebrate with all the other princesses in the land! Now, lets party!
From the get go Graysen knew she wanted to be the one and only Cinderella. So, I set up a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique full of dresses, accessories & everything a little girl would need to play dress up including her own princess vanity.
Moana greeted guests at the favor table later in the party.
Onto the kids table. I couldn’t find anyone in the area out there that rented children’s tables or chairs. Which meant I ended up bringing chairs with me from California and made the tables myself.
It was an early party so we served breakfast snack foods, a trio of milks and a few treats for later.
Cookies, cake & cupcakes all came from Mid West Cookie Co.
The majority of the decor came from Shindigz. I utilized their Once Upon A Time Disney Princess Collection as well as their Happily Ever After collection.
It’s Princess time!
After everyone was ready, it was time to dine.
Prince Charming showed up.
Princess Kate gathered everyone around for storytime.
Then it was time for dancing & twirling.
Next was a game I put together called “All Tangled Up” Just wrap everyone up in yellow paper streamers and have them try to break free. The kids loved it!
This is my Princess Rapunzel here getting all tangled up. We just celebrated her birthday a few months ago and guess what her theme was…Rapunzel. 🙂 Go check out all the details from her Tangled in Fun 7th birthday. Princess Graysen just happened to be at that party as well.
While the kids were playing we re-set the table for dessert.
I hereby declare it is time for cake!
Wasn’t that fun?
Before I go, I’d like to thank Shindigz for teaming up with me to make this day extra special for Graysen! Thank you to all the new vendors I was able to work with out in the KC area, I hope to work together again soon. Thank you to all the parents that came and let me capture your beautiful babies playing! Thank you to Princess Kate and a very big thank you to my sister for helping pull this off on such short notice.
Happy Birhday Princess G!
