We are fast approaching my sweet little Olivia’s 6th Birthday. This year she has requested a cat theme. Me being the crazy cat lady that I am (kitty newborn photo shoot for example) squealed with delight at the thought of a Fancy Feast. I just wrapped up the final touches on all her invitations this morning so we can head out to hand deliver them today. If you know me then you know that the invitations are my favorite things to design. (See my favorite invitations ever here.)
These were so fun to put together with the little paw print touches and MEOW accents. Let me walk you through all the cute touches.
I couldn’t decide based on my color palette of light pink, coral and lavender which color envelope to go with so I decided to do a mix. I bought my envelopes from Envelopes.com in the shades of candy pink & a metallic amethyst. Then I used my Cricut to cut out the party guests names in a coral vinyl.
I mean how cute are those little paw prints? I also cut out some fish bones to make an envelope seal for the back.
Once opened, peeking out inside is the envelope liner I made from some digital art I found on Etsy. I had to recolor it all to match my colors but its such a cute touch, especially with those little cat ears poking out. If you follow my Instagram and notice I haven’t been very active lately…its because I’ve been busy making endless yarn balls. Here is the actual invitation, isn’t it just the cutest? I found the cat silhouette on Etsy as well in a pack of digital art. I erased the original eyes and recolored it then added all my wording using this font. So there you have it, the most purrfect kitty invitations. Keep your eyes peeled to my Instagram stories to catch glimpses of some behind the scenes of what else I’m working on for the party.
